Let us answer some of your most frequently asked questions and tell you a bit more about our process from the design stages to execution!

Tell Us About Your Project

It is imperative to hone in on all the details regarding your project in order to give you outstanding results. What we will need from you are a few things: where your project is located, approximate size and measurements of your space, your vision, aesthetic, and theme of your project, which services you would like us to provide (murals, fine art, flooring, decor, furnishings, interactive and immersive accent surroundings, etc.), if you have a budget for your project, timeline you will need to the project to be completed by, etc. This phase will include our team visiting your project locations, taking photos, measurements, and more, to begin the discovery phase.

Phase 1: Design | Discovery Phase

Now that we have all the details on your project vision, our company can begin the design phase. In the design phase, our experts will bring your vision to life with our 2D and 3D softwares that will allow you to see visual simulations before our team is boots on the ground. This phase is unique to Futuriscape, which allows you as the client, to dive deeper into your the specifics of how you want all aspects of the project to look, prior to execution. Before we can enter this first phase of your project, you will be required to pay a design fee, which will go towards the hours and time put in by our team, to create a visual guide on your project. This design fee is non-refundable, but will go towards the overall price point of the project if you choose to proceed. Once the initial design is agreed upon, our team can give you a price breakdown for each segment of your project. You then can proceed with parts of the package or the entire package to suit your budget and timeline. Unique to Futuriscape, we can tailor your needs and priorities to what works for you and your budget.

Phase 2: Formalities & Documentation Phase

Upon completing the design phase, our company and client can now begin the formalities and documentation phase of the project. In this phase we will establish projected start date and completion date, begin ordering supplies for your project, sign project contracts, receive 50% deposit/down payment to begin boots on the ground (your design fee goes towards this). Once this is completed, we will be able to enter the execution phase. *We cannot begin until all fees/deposits have been made*. Completing this will secure your timeline and date for your project.

Phase 3: Execution Phase

It is time to begin executing your immersive interior visions and start bringing them to life! Our team of experts begin boots on the ground! During this phase, you will receive photos of our progress on your project. This phase is very important in regards to communication, as our team will need you to guide us, so we can pivot plans and conquer any challenges together, that may arise (ex: building blocks that prevent build-outs, etc.). At this phase in the project, we are unable to make drastic changes to the scope of work, unless it is minor or discussed and agreed upon with the company and client. If additions are requested, it may result in additional fees and charges, if it is outside the initial scope of work. We will do our best to work with you and work around additional requests.

Phase 4: Finalization/Completion Phase

Congratulations! Your project is almost complete and ready for you to enjoy for years to come! During this phase, we will finalize all documentation and deposit requirements. Once we enter into this phase, we will send you your final invoice for the other half of your 50% deposit/down payment. Your final payment and remaining balance will be due the following business day after the completion of your project. Late payments may result in additional fees and charges. Failure to make final payments can result to legal action.

How much is the design fee? Is it refundable if we back out of the project?

Our design fee starts varies, depending on the depth of the project, and will ultimately be decided upon by Futuriscape from project to project. The design fee is a non-refundable fee to pay for the time and labor of our team creating renderings and simulations of your project. The design fee will be applied to the final amount of the project if you choose to proceed. If you choose not to proceed, your design fee will not be refunded to you, as this covers our team's cost of designing your project.

How can I secure my project’s dates with Futuriscape?

In order for us to move from the discovery phase to the formality phase of your project, both the design fee and initial 50% deposit/down payment will need to be made. You will have 3 business days to pay these fees (unless approved upon by Futuriscape in the initial agreement) to secure your project dates. Failure to pay within this timeline may result in rescheduling to a later date. This means, you may have to wait until further availability of the company, to begin your project. The 50% deposit secures your project on the schedule and is only paid once the Design | Discovery Phase is complete and agreed upon.

How many changes can I make in the design phase?

Our design fee covers the initial creation of the design/rendering discussed between the client and Futuriscape. The client may request one large change or a few minor changes after viewing the initial design. If the you wish to make further changes, this may result in additional design fees/charges unless agreed upon with Futuriscape.

Can I pick and choose segments or itemized projects?

Ex. Flooring only, mural only, one off custom furnishings/decor, digital or traditional 2D & 3D artwork, graphics, or environments only, branding only, etc.

Yes! Our initial package can be selected as a whole or can be selected in segments (ex: wanting to create entire immersive room, but then deciding to just do flooring and furniture, or only a mural, etc.) Pricing for individual/specific services can be priced out in the scope of work without issue, per a client's request.

Are all projects priced the same?

Each project will be individually priced. Prices will vary depending on the services requested, scale, materials needed, how intricate the design, etc.

What happens if I decide to back out of a project?

Design fees are non-refundable, as labor and time go into creating project renderings. Project phases will be mapped out, individually, to each client. Depending on what phase of the project and how far along, clients may choose to pull out of the project, but may be subject to cancelation fees to cover labor, time, and materials. Details of deposit returns, cancelation fees, etc., will be detailed in project contract.

What can cause a delay in my project?

Sometimes delays happen. Let’s go over some of the reasons that this can occur. Supply chain delay (material shortages, resource constraints), extreme weather may delay project if outdoors (rain, extreme heat, etc.), design/scope of work changes, contracts and deposit delays, budget changes, unexpected material price changes, injury and illness of either party, etc.

My installation needs fixing, touch ups, and/or maintenance. Now what?

Warranty is provided for the first 30 days of your project depending on which party is at fault for fixes, touch ups, and/or maintenance. Futuriscape will cover all fixes and touch ups where Futuriscape is the responsible party for 30 days after the completion of the project. Any issues thereafter, the client will be responsible for all touch ups, fixes, and/or maintenance, financially. Each situation will be assessed on a case by case basis. Futuriscape is happy to help with maintaining longevity and maintenance on all aspects of the project, per request. Please feel free to contact us for such matters, as we are more than happy to assist with unpredictable situations. All repairs must be done by Futuriscape or may be subject to lapses in guarentees or any warentees agreed upon.

Preventative Maintenance Recommendations

Dust free, clean, Vegas weather, graffiti prevention, UV protectant, damage prevention, etc. Each project will have its own preventative maintenance that will be customized to your project.

Information on Copyrights

Licensed products can be negotiated, all original art is owned by Futuriscape LLC, there otherwise. Ex. Any recreation of artwork, such as use in commercial or non-commercial printing, advertising, or recreation etc. must go through legal licensing and through Futuriscape LLC.

Property Insurance - Project may be protected under your insurance

Questions regarding what insurance will cover on your project will need to be individually looked into by your insurance and a case by case basis.

What is the life expentancy of my installation?

Life expectancy of a project will range from factors such as weather, whether or not the project is exterior or interior, and normal wear and tear for custom created items. Further detail can be given, once more details about your specific project are in the design phase.

I’m on a budget, will this prevent me from working with Futuriscape?

No, Futuriscape works with budgets and projects of all shapes, sizes and ideas. Some installations are more costly, but we can work with you to be able to find a project that fits the boundaries of your budget. With years of experience, our incredible team, will individualize a project that suits your needs!
